How do I apply for a position I have seen on the website?

What should I do if I'm having trouble submitting my resume online?

We review resumes through our applicant tracking system online. If you are having trouble submitting your resume through our careers site, you may use the "Technical Difficulties?" option on our website.

Do I have to be a U.S. citizen in order to work for Emdeon?

It depends on the job. Each position and business area has different requirements that must be considered. It's important to let your recruiter know early in the process whether you have the right to work in the U.S. through either a work visa or spouse. If a specific position you've applied for does not require U.S. citizenship, your recruiter will inform you of Emdeon's sponsorship policy.

I know the type of position I want but don't see such an opening on your website. Can I just send my resume directly instead?

It's important that all candidates apply through our careers site. You may register on our site and upload your resume. However, for best visibility, be sure to apply for a specific position. New opportunities are published often and as soon as they arise. Check back often for the latest updates.

How will I know if I have been successful after an interview? What is the timeframe involved with the hiring process?

Staffing/HR will respond with feedback as soon as it is available. The timeframe varies depending on the actual role for which you are interviewing. Your recruiter can advise you during the process about the expected response time.

What if a current Emdeon employee referred me?

Please select employee referral as your source and note the first and last name of the referring employee. You may also send your resume to the Emdeon employee to submit your resume for you. When contacted by a recruiter, you would be asked to complete the online application.

I have received a direct e-mail regarding an available opportunity or offer of employment and a request for some personal information. Is this normal procedure?

Emdeon will never directly send e-mails asking for personal information, payment of any kind or make offers of employment without the recipient being involved in a structured recruitment process. What if I'm contacted by a Staffing/Recruitment firm about an opportunity at Emdeon?

Emdeon has an internal recruitment team dedicated to both full-time and contract employment. Occasionally Emdeon will request assistance from one of these firms, but if you have any question about the authenticity of the opportunity being presented to you, please contact publicrelations@emdeon.com. Emdeon does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing/recruitment firms.
