Claims Submission

Secondary/COB Claims Submission

Many payers offer electronic submission of secondary/COB claims. For participating payers:

• Generate a Payer List on our Payer List page and view the COB column, or
• Open a Fact Sheet on our Payer EDI Fact Sheets page and look for the eCOB section

Payers that accept eCOB should NOT require a paper copy of the COB as long as information from the COB is being passed electronically to the payer. Contact your software vendor for the capability to submit secondary claims electronically.

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
